Dougal finds Florence reading, again! She tells him that the book is about pirates and is very exciting. Dougal thinks pirates are just silly! Florence finds a map inside the book. Look, Dougal, it’s a pirates map, with a cross marking a certain spot on the map. It must be buried treasure! Ermintrude, Dylan and Brian join them in the hunt. The team dig where the cross indicates, but find nothing. When they look at the map again, the cross has moved. Zebedee giggles from afar. They go to another spot to dig, by which time Brian has made a treasure detector, but all he finds are some knitting needles, not the pies Dougal had hoped for. Florence doesn’t want either of them to be disappointed so asks Dylan to dig another hole, in which she hides some gold looking objects and a fresh pie. Once it’s covered up, she then persuades Dougal to have just one more go. Voila, pies and gold treasure. Brian and Dougal are delighted, and Florence realises that Zebedee had once again done his magic with the map. She might have known! And it’s time to party!
