Permission to visit Velliangiri Hill has been granted till 31st May 2024.

1. How long does it take to climb and descend the Velliangiri hill?Depending on one's physical condition, it may take approximately 8-12 hours.
2. How to reach Velliangiri Hill?
You can reach Coimbatore district from anywhere in Tamil Nadu by train or by bus. If you come to Coimbatore, you will come to two stations, one is Gandhipuram and the second is Singhanallur. From these two bus stations, there is a bus to Poondi i.e. the foot of the temple. Otherwise, there is a bus to Isa Yoga Center. You can board that bus and come to the foot of the hill.
3. Can women go to Velliangiri Hill?
Girls below 10 years and women above 50 years are allowed.
4. When to go to Velliangiri Hill?
All days until May 31, 2024. Saturdays, Sundays and days like Shivratri & Pradosham are crowded so if you go on other days you can avoid the crowd.
5. Can we stay over Velliangiri Hill?!
Due to security reasons, they do not allow staying on the seventh mountain, although some stay, it is best to climb and descend during day time
