Quick guide. How to hook up a INA219 DC Current/Voltage/Power sensor to an ESP 8266 or ESP32 Microcontroller for use in Home Assistant (ESPHome). I used this on my front gate Solar Panel SLA battery charger. Now I can log exactly how the battery charging system is working with the Solar Panel and set alarms for the battery condition. (Avoid Failures due to battery/Solar Charger issues - gate would not open).

For all these modules do, they are inexpensive (about $4.25 USD) on; Aliexpress, Ebay, Amazon

They also can be 'hacked' by changing the value of the SHUNT resistor (but due to the land size, maybe just a small change to keep the current from going too high).

Shout out to the Arduino community for all the help! Thanks!!!
Not many in the HA or ESPHome community had used these (I guess).

Need to measure HIGHER DC Currents? Need some circuit isolation? Check-out my tutorial on the ACS-712 Current sensing module: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q8vdS9A1LmM
