- Pattern paper, measuring tape, pencil and eraser
- Ruler, French curve and pattern master
- Paper and fabric scissors
- A positive and excited attitude

- Around waist

- Around hip
- Across front chest
- Neckline depth

- Vertical distance from shoulder to bust

- Vertical distance from bust to waist
- Vertical distance from waist to hip

- Nightgown length
