Okay, so here's the deal. Moonveil is fun. I was a fan of the Chikage in Bloodborne. I was a fan of the Frayed Blade in Dark Souls III. I have a thing for unsheathing my sword and having cool stuff come out. However, I wanted this build to be more than just a Transient Moonlight stick.

For this build, I'm doing my discount version of Vergil from the Devil May Cry series. Moonveil acted as my "Yamato" for Judgement Cut (Transient Moonlight) which was used in moderation, because I'm not going to not use it, it is a fantastic weapon skill, but a weapon should be a tool not a crutch. I have a second right hand, Cold Uchigatana with Glintblade Phalanx and I make use of the sorcery, Magic Glintblade to act as my "Summoned Swords" for ranged options that good stance damage. Lastly, I use Carian Greatsword and Carian Piercer on occasion to act as my "Mirage Edge". I also use the Winged Cracked Tear, because Vergil isn't a mid-roller.

The point of this build is to lean heavily into high magic and stance damage though the focus is not just power but also speed. I could have run Lusat's, but I really like max cast speed with Radagon's Icon and Azur's Glintstone Staff. There are a variety of ways to use this specific kit: Whether it is using Glintblade Phalanx into Moonveil attacks to wreck stance, one handing Moonveil while using Carian Sorceries, or two handing Moonveil and using the Katana's solid moveset in conjunction with Transient Moonlight.
