Welcome to Mod Crusader Kings, a series I've been wanting to do for a while with the aim of having all the resources you'll need in one easy to access and concise guide.

In this episode, we cover the programs that are essential, and my personal choice, in creating Crusader Kings II mods. I move onto a very generic and sparse description of the mod structure and then the .mod files itself.

Please note, this is a series aimed at complete novices who have no prior skills in coding/scripting/modding, who are looking to learn completely from scratch, hence why I remain quite vague on certain topics so as to avoid overwhelming any beginners.

In addition, if you have any advice, hints, tips, or corrections to the content, please let us know as soon as possible - the whole point of this series is to encourage people who have never done this type of thing to try their hand at it, so any extra information will help!
