Today I will show you an easy cheap way to diagnose a misfire or no start in your engine. The in-line ignition spark tester will light up and flash when spark is present and will be able to help diagnose a cylinder with no spark. After finding which cylinder has no spark you can swap coil packs, and if the tool lights up with a different coil pack then you know the first coil pack is not working.
