A story of Irene, a woman of 37, being a mother of 2 children – a boy of 12 and a girl of 16 – who passionately falls in love with a young guy Anatoly, a former secret service man, who is an absolute polarity to her weak-willed husband. As a result of dramatic twists and turns, her husband dies of heart attack, her children abandon her and she retires to a monastery as a lay sister.
