Getting started with ESP-01 and WLED

I have posted several videos using ESP-01 (ESP8266) and WLED without really covering getting started with this MCU and ws2812b LED strip with WLED.

In this video, I cover programming the ESP01 with a jig and the WLED firmware. I use a WS2812B "shield" for my projects so it is super easy to get up and running.

Linux users I suggest esptool: https://github.com/espressif/esptool I use the command:
esptool.py write_flash 0x0 WLED_0.13.0-b7_ESP01.bin
