Video taken on 9/7/13. This is a test of the Belmont fire district warning siren. This siren is tested at the first Saturday of each month at 12:00PM EST. The camcorder was actually leaning when I recorded this test.
I went to this siren an hour early before 12:00PM EST and I told to test this siren early because I don't want to be late for the "Gamecocks" Model 5T tornado siren test in Spartanburg, SC.
When I told the firefighter to test this siren, they will test it in a few minutes. They let me set off this siren at around 11:15AM EST. Well, they have a weird set up how it's controlled by a timer switch thing and it connects to something that has the attack signal timing thing. Also, quick crazy story: I met a crazy firefighter on 9/4/13. He went crazy when I showed up here for this test. He was excited to see me.
This siren is located near Conestee, SC at Belmont fire district off of Fork Shoals road.
