In this video we talk about solving Mazda CX5 DPF problem when the DPF light comes on. The DPF of this car is known to fail at some stage in its lifetime and you will know this by a P2002 error code described as " particulate trap efficiency below threshold bank 1" on your diagnostic tool. Other faults that can be seen are as follows:

P2003 - DPF efficiency below threshold (Bank 2)
P242F - Dpf restriction - Ash accumulation
P2458 - DPF regeneration duration
P2459 - DPF regeneration frequency
P2463 - DPF Restriction - Soot accumulation


In the video we explain the ultimate way which you can solve this problem. a DPF is meant to last the vehicle's lifetime. You dont have to buy a new DPF and when you start seeing these problems it means you will likely continue seeing them even if you purchase a brand new one.
