In The Witcher 3 we got thousands of Mods to improve our Gaming experience and unfortunately some of them conflict with each other. If you want to solve that problem, Script Merger is a fast and easy method to create merges for you! Means that they will no longer conflict with each other! :)

Sometimes it needs human help because it's not a Magic Tool that does everything for you!
Creating Merges manually depends on the conflicting Mods, so there's no general formula to create them. If Script Merger couldn't create a specific Merge, you can sometimes ignore that and just leave it uncreated or search for the conflicting Mods and i'm sure you'll find your answer on the internet! :)
