Philippines major minority group Moros (Muslims) are from Southern Philippines. They speaks: Mëranaw is an Austronesian language. The word Moros came from Spanish. During the time of Moroccan-empire ruled Anda Lucia, Spain over eight hundred years, from that time Moroccan were known as Moros or Moorish. The golden mosque in Manila were built for Libyan President Muammar al-Qaddafi for his visit to Manila, by ex-first lady Imelda Marcos.
Muslims pray 5 times a day and they are very peaceful people.
This video also covered a short portion of the famous Quiapo catholic church known as Basilica of the Black Nazarene which was built by the Spaniards. Filipino food is my favorite when I used to live in Maila, I adopted all kind of food and my favorite was Beef-Tapa, Bulalo and Sinigang. I also don't eat from the street because it is my own choice. However, this video I went to a local Muslim restaurant it was recommended by couple of local, but I didn't have good experience, because food served cold. It seems the restaurant violated all the health rules of food handling. Food handling is universal rules not only applied in the Philippines but does apply any restaurants around the world. These rules are important to protect consumers from not getting sick or carrying any kind of virus. But we know many eateries or restaurants are not following this rule and that is why there is a department call Health and safety. Any health inspector could hold violations of health code to this kind of restaurants. I have dined in Manila many verities of restaurants and very clean and customer services are great, except what happened today. Last part of the video is about walking alone in the dark especially in Manila is not a good idea. I do suggest no matter where you go avoid walking alone in the dark. There are very few countries where walking in the dark no need to fear, such as Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Abu Dhabi and New Zealand etc. Because those countries have no street crime neither any robbery, so, you could be safe most of the time. Also, I talked about colonialism and its effect to the people in Philippines. This video is organic as true and original and no fictions however short dramatic video clips used for better understanding.
