In this video I outline the basic process in putting together a private mortgage deal - from the initial consultation all the way to funding.

I know some of you are familiar with the traditional mortgage process and less familiar with the private mortgage process, so I thought this was a good way to introduce the basic procedure of how to get a private deal funded.

I focus on the 10 key steps that occur after a deal comes across my desk: 1) Initial Consultation, 2) Service Offered, 3) Substantiate Borrower's Strength, 4) Crafting the Mortgage Proposal, 5) Present Proposal to Lenders, 6) Negotiate with Lender, 7) Order Appraisal, 8) Commitment Letter, 9) Lawyers Instruct, 10) Funding.
