Extremely Low Cost Travels - Armenia - Part 1.
Elementary school girl shows that even with little financial resources it is possible to organize amazing trips all over Europe and beyond.
The current episode focuses on Armenia, which was our final destination in a journey from Central Europe through Turkey and Georgia.

We are delighted with Armenia. It is a beautiful country with rich, picturesque nature. Unfortunately, it is a very poor country where people cope with the lack of availability of certain resources such as wood or heating fuel in an unusual way.

In this episode we focused on the north-western and central part of Armenia. We were surprised by the terrible condition of most roads and the large number of vintage Soviet cars in constant use. We were curious to see the ubiquitous bricks made of shit and grass, and the common fences made of car bodies. Finally we got to the Aragats Mountain area where the scary-looking Aragats Research Institute is located.
The most beautiful jewel of Armenia is its wonderful nature. Rare forested areas, high mountain meadows covered with numerous flowering plants, and the majestic ridges of the Aragats massif are unforgetable.

As usual, our trips are organized in the most low-budget way possible.
With own supplies and free accomodation in a tent it is possible to greatly reduce the costs of expedition. The total expenses for 1-month long expedition and covered distance of over 10.000 km were about 200€ per person.
