The Eton Elite Traveler AM FM LW Shortwave portable radio does a excellent job on the medium wave broadcast band during the evening hours. It has a few "birdies", which can be eliminated by the use of a passive loop! Logging a new station is always a treat.

Overall, the FM and Shortwave performance is fantastic. The MW band has it's small issues, but overcoming them are easy. If you can get this radio at under $40, you are getting a bargain. Loving it!
