If you have a GitHub account please star the repository so you can see any updates that come out and this helps bring attention to my mods
Go ahead and click this folder, then click the zip right here
Now you can click the download icon to save the zip
After it has downloaded, unzip the files and we can start setting up the mod
We are going to hop on over to the extensions tab of our browser
If you don't see this little extension button you can also go to your sidebar and click here, if you don't see this just right click on the sidebar to open the settings and enable the extensions button here
After you open the extensions page you want to click load unpacked and then navigate to the folder where you have your unpacked zip files
Click on the folder, make sure you see the folder name at the bottom and click select

Now that we have our extension loaded we need to open the web modding folder and open the spotifyTheme.css file
I am using Visual Studio Code because it makes it really easy to see what you are editing, if you want to download it i will leave a link in the description, just follow the prompts and it will be easy
Once you get it open it should look something like this
I left notes along each line to tell you what they do
And a lot of them i couldn't see any difference when i edited the colors
But the main ones stick out so you can easily find the ones to change

Now we are going to make a Christmas color mod for the holidays
Look up “hex color picker” and we can use the one provided by google to find the colors we want
Drag the slider around to what you like and then copy the hex code
Paste it over the old hex color and then save your file, in visual studio code you can press ctrl + s to save
Head over to your extensions tab and either click update or the little reload arrow to refresh your mod files
Then jump back to Spotify to see your changes
If it didn't change make sure you updated your mod and sometimes you may need to clear your browser cache or reload the website, but it should automatically change
Lets pick our next color to update the your library cards
Do the same process to replace the color and save the file, then refresh your extension files
Go ahead and change any other colors you want and repeat the process to refresh and display them
During my testing process I found that multiple parts of the website seem to get their style from JavaScript, which means we can’t edit all the colors
If I find a way around this I will post an update
