棕榈树，云南路边绿化带常见的植物，每到夏季，就挂满红褐色的果子，粗纤维的果肉里全是浆汁和丰富的油，可以用来榨油。方便面算是常用棕榈油的一种食品，但复刻一碗红烧牛肉面，可真不简单……
Palm trees are commonly-seen plants on the sidewalks across Yunnan. In summer, they’re loaded with brown fruits, of which the crude-fibered flesh is rich in juice and oil. They can be pressed into oil. Palm oil is widely used in instant noodles. But it’s not simple to recreate a bowl of braised-beef flavored instant noodles.
