Played on PCSX2 PlayStation 2 Emulator in 4K, default settings with game fixes and no interlacing patches checked in the emulator menu.

Polyphony digital, the developers behind Gran Turismo, tried their hands at a bike game and this was the result. Using the same engine as Gran Turismo 4, you can expect the same level of quality to the graphics and gameplay, which is superb. The bike physics, although a little lacking at the rear end of the bike, are still better than anything else available at that time. I grabbed this as soon as I could and was not disappointed. It featured all of the Gran Turismo fan favourite circuits (unlike the last two GT games...) and a good selection of real world circuits. There were also over 130 bikes to ride. Instead of buying and selling vehicles like in Gan Turismo, this game has a race for each bike where if you win, you win the bike. It also has a license part. It does feel cut back compared to Gran Turismo, but in terms of bike games at the time, nothing else came close. We are yet to see a follow up and seeing the state of Gran Turismo these days, I would definitely rather another Tourist Trophy than another Gran Turismo.
