Marcotting is a perfect way of propagation, almost 100% result for CROTON OR SAN FRANCISCO so with other woody type plant. Peel off plant stem cover or skin for about 10miĺlimeter using any sharp tool, then cover it with moistened peat moss, tap it with small plastic and tie it. The moistened peat moss will give moisture needed by the marcotted part to enduce growth. Marcotting is successful when you see roots surfacing the end of the plastic cover. Cut the stem below the plastic cover and plant right away.Put plant on partly shaded area and water graduaĺly,once stable, water it regularly.
