Have you ever returned to a website where you were expecting to see a certain article, photo, or video and it's not there? That's happened to me lots of times. It's really frustrating as you know it should be there, but it doesn't show on your computer.

What happens is this. As you know, every computer is different. When you visit a certain site, the browser downloads the site onto your hardrive and remembers it for the next time you visit. It makes it easier and quicker for you. In fact, the browser does this for most places you visit so that the next time you return to that page within a certain amount of time, your browser retrieves it from the storage on your own computer instead of asking the server for it again.

This is called 'caching your information'.

Each time you return, the computer remembers the last time you visited and presents that page to you from your Cache.

OK. So how do you make sure you are viewing the most recent additions to the site's page?

Refresh or Reload the Page.

When you refresh or reload a age, your browser will then accesses a resource on the Internet to update the particular page while at the same time updating the stored cache content on your computer.

On most of the browsers you can simply do this by pressing the 'F5' key which is situated up the top of your keyboard.

However, there are also other ways to locate the refresh/reload Button..........
