Some models do not have a cabin filter. If you have a removable cabin filter housing cover you can replace or add a cabin filter. If yours is sealed closed then you do not have a cabin filter and cannot add one.

AQ1125 filter fits:
Mitsubishi Eclipse 2000-2005
Mitsubishi Galant 1999-2003

The model shown in this video is a 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse, but installation is similar on the other models.
