The PI ProcessBook to PI Vision 2019 Migration Utility allows you to easily migrate PI ProcessBook displays to PI Vision, producing native PI Vision displays that are editable and immediately usable in OSIsoft’s latest visualization infrastructure. The generated PI Vision displays aim to match their source PI ProcessBook displays as closely as possible with regard to size, position and color of symbols and data items.

The PI ProcessBook to PI Vision Migration Utility first analyzes your PI ProcessBook .PDI and .PIW files, providing summary views showing which displays can be fully migrated to PI Vision, and which displays contain symbols, objects, or other functionality that cannot be migrated to PI Vision due to differences in the feature sets between the two products. This allows you to make informed decisions about which of your PI ProcessBook displays are ready to be migrated to PI Vision. Detailed analysis reports of PI ProcessBook displays are also available.

This utility can be installed on any machine that meets the system requirements, and does not need to be installed on the same machine as PI Vision. PI Vision 2019 is required in order to migrate PI ProcessBook displays.
