In Baz Luhrmans film and the newly produced West End musical, this number is a build up to one of the final scenes. It explores the dichotomy between Christian’s passion and jealousy and the Duke’s lust for control. The dramatic Tango style moves and shapes were the inspiration for our choreography and use of props. The advanced level pole students have pulled out all the stops to bring the drama to our final number. Performing for the first time as a group on spin pole. All performers have a lot of showcase and performing experience, except for one new member of this super skilled team, who is performing for the first time ever!
