This is playing with the idea that Papyrus isn't his own monster, that he adjusts himself to please those around him, to be what those around him expected.
The idea is not originally mind. It was influenced by Who art thou? by PurrV on AO3 as well as PurrV's Who am I? on DeviantArt.
