The 2016 Terex RT780 combines strength and power with exceptional maneuverability, integrated with advanced hydraulics and electronics to provide the operator with unmatched ease-of-use and productivity.

The RT780 is equipped with four hydraulic single-stage double box beam outriggers with inverted jacks and integral holding valves. The outriggers have three position settings, 0%, 50% and fully extended.

The 126 foot four-section Full Power boom comes equipped with standard boom wear pads that offer long life and are easily adjustable. Pad replacement does not require boom disassembly. Both the inner and outer boom can be lubricated via easily accessible grease zerks.

A 33-57 foot offsettable lattice swing-away jib with an extendable insert give the RT780 a maximum tip height of 190 feet.

Two speed, planetary swing drive with foot-applied multi-disc wet brake allows the cab to spin up to 2.2 rotations per minute. The Full Vision cab on the RT780 tilts up to 18˚ providing the operator additional comfort when working at long boom and extension lengths.

The interior of the cab is equipped with a six-way adjustable heated seat, hinged and tinted all glass skylight, air conditioning, and flameless heat.

Powered by a 260 horsepower Cummins Diesel engine with rangeshift transmission, 4 wheel drive and 4 wheel steer, this crane has the ability to move with an extended lattice jib, providing outstanding jobsite maneuverability with no time loss.
