iOS 17: How to Turn on AirDrop on iPhone

This video will show you how to turn on AirDrop on iPhone in iOS 17. Once you complete this tutorial you will know about two different places where you can find the device’s AirDrop setting.

You can turn iPhone AirDrop on with the following steps:

1. Swipe down from the top-right corner of the screen.
2. Tap and hold on the wireless square at the top-left.
3. Choose AirDrop.
4. Select Contacts Only or Everyone for 10 Minutes.

Alternatively you can go to Settings - General - AirDrop and choose an option there.

The steps in this guide were performed on an iPhone 14 in the iOS 17 operating system, but work on many other iPhone models as well, such as the iPhone 11, iPhone 12, iPhone 13, and iPhone 15.
