The Knobs in Arturia Minilab mkII work flawlessly with Analog Lab , But if you Auto Assign Logic's smart control script then they are prioritised instead of Default Arturia minilab mkII mapping. Thats the reason why encoders don't give a desired smooth operation.

In this video i explain how to make the best of Arturia Minilab mkII Default controller setup. So that later when we come to Live Loop grid control with knobs and pads there are no setbacks.
