Tears (Bent Lorentzen, 1992) - Tobias Kochseder

So I'm uploading weekly again. This time a very sad piece, an original work for accordion by Bent Lorentzen (1938 - 2018), probably considered standard repertoire for this instrument at most places in the world.
The contrast between those cold and distant sounding sections and highly emotionally charged parts is what makes this piece very interesting to me. The whole piece also feels very fragile to me, but yet peaceful.
Recorded in Eduardos living room, June 2021
Equipment used: Sony A6300 with Sigma 30mm f1.4, Zoom H6, Lewitt TS640, Oktava MK012 stereo pair
