Released in 2010 for mobile devices, Brothers in Arms 2 served as a sequel to Gameloft's 2008 shooter "Brothers in Arms: Hour of Heroes". Between the releases of these two games, Gameloft began their popular Modern Combat series, causing BIA2 to be a lot closer to Modern Combat 2 than the first Brothers in Arms game as the game now played entirely in a first-person perspective rather than the third-person view seen in Hour of Heroes.
