This grammar game is perfect for teaching elementary school children and secondary school students. How to play: It is a clap passing game. It is played in a circle. The aim is to say the 3 forms of 5 irregular verbs and to spell the last verb form letter by letter: one word - one clap. Students should pass the clap around the classroom saying together "I know 5 irregular verbs... " and then choose any verbs they remember and name their 3 forms. The last clap is very important. If the student who is passing the last clap is fast enough and touches the partner’s hand, this student is the winner. But if the partner takes away the hand before the clap, the clapping student loses this game. You can give some funny task to the student who lost, like sing a song, dance, do push-ups or sit-ups.
