PART 2 of 2: Team Pitches: Thrive+, Epigrammar, BoxPower
About: The Keller Center’s eLab Summer Accelerator Program at Princeton University is a launch pad for student startups. Now in its sixth year, the eLab is based in the Entrepreneurial Hub at 34 Chambers Street in downtown Princeton, NJ. The program is open, by application only, to some of Princeton’s brightest and most dynamic undergraduate and graduate student entrepreneurs. Over a period of ten weeks, student teams work intensively on their startup ideas with the goal of developing them into viable, scalable ventures. The students spend the summer in supportive community of fellow entrepreneurs, where they receive guidance and advice from assigned mentors and advisors and participate in a boot camp, lectures, meetings, and workshops. At the closure of the summer program, the teams participate in two Demo Days: one on the Princeton campus and one at AppNexus in NYC.
At Demo Day, each team showcases their entrepreneurial ventures to an audience of investors, innovators, and entrepreneurs. Teams show a brief promo, followed by their 8-minute pitch, and five minutes of Q&A with an expert panel. Demo stations and networking follow.
