Before: 2GB RAM, Stock Apple Hard Drive. 2.4ghz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor with OSX 1.8 (Mountain Lion)

After: 16gb RAM, Crucial MX200 SSD

Cost: Used Macbook $200. Parts ~$250

*6 year old computer running very fast for $450!* I was formatting video in the background, streaming Pandora, watching YouTube with Safari and Chrome and 10+tabs open simultaneously and this computer had little to no slow down. BIG change from the stock when it would lag with 7 tabs open and couldn't handle streaming 360p YT videos.
