You'll come across a lot of loot in Starfield, and I mean a lot of loot, which will include different outfits, space-suits, helmets and weapons, to name a few.
In this beginners guide tutorial video I show you how to change what your NPC companion, or crewmates, are wearing, by trading with them and getting them to equip what you want in their inventory.
This technique also lets you give better guns and grenades to your NPC friends, making them much more useful in combat situations.
