Unfortunately, I haven’t record of full match Wang Hao vs Vladimir Samsonov. We can see only 5th set (last).

But after you can see wonderful final between Wang Hao and Timo Boll.

So, Wang Hao is my favorite player in table tennis after Jan-Ove Waldner.

Wang Hao has very beautiful technique of his backhand and forehand top spins. Also Wang Hao has very reliable service. And I really like Wang Hao’s game strategy.

Wang Hao usually service with side-up spin and his contestants can’t play short game, so Wang Hao waiting long receive and he ready for all variants of long receive. So, almost all points by his service Wang Hao has an advantage.

And also receive of services by Wang Hao. He often do “banana” and after this his opponent could play only open game by backhand. And Wang Hao feels very good in backhand-backhand game. IMHO better than him in this game only Zhang Jike. But this match was in 2005 and Zhang Jike wasn’t on international area. So at that time Wang Hao was the best in backhand-backhand game.

Also in this match Wang Hao has big advantage in backhand-backhand game against Vladimir Samsonov.

After this match Wang Hao will play with winner of next semifinal and Vladimir Samsonov with looser.
