Today we visit Monica, who dances her praise to the Lord. Through dance, she turns her confession and celebration into worshipful movement.

This summer, we're going on a journey to discover a joy that can only come from God. The topic of joy can raise many questions: What is Joy? What is the difference between happiness and joy? What or who is the source of the Christian’s joy? How can Joy become a characteristic of our lives?

The Bible says God gives us joy and peace. It tells us that real joy comes from God and is ours forever. The joy that is found in God’s presence isn’t static; it transforms and regenerates us. At the heart of joy is an unshakable awareness that we possess good from God. Joy is a part of God’s kingdom.

In the next five weeks, we will travel with Pastor Aaron as he meets and talks to people who have tapped into the joy of the Lord. He'll share their stories, look at the scriptures, and reflect on what joy means to us in this day and age.
