Описание

Left over lamb and potato pasties
Easy peasy to make - Cost - 45p
4 potatoes - 5p from Aldi Super 6
Lamb free from yesterday
1 small onion cubed - 5p
1 stock cube - 5p
Handful of frozen peas - 5p
Salt and pepper to taste
Pastry - (flour butter water) - 20p
1 Egg for glazing - 5p
Cut the potatoes into small cubes and fry in frying pan until soft, add thinly sliced onion and cubes left over lamb. Throw in a handful of frozen peas. Add stock cube and salt and pepper to taste. Once all cooked through leave to cool whilst you roll out your pastry
Make pastry and roll out on floured surface and cut around a saucer.
Take your circle and egg wash, put a tablespoon of mixture and place in the middle and fold pastry and crimp edges.
Carry on until all used.
Slice a hole in the top of each pasty to allow steam to escape and egg wash all the surface
Bake for 20/25 minutes until golden brown
