The Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog is a direct descendent of the Old Southern Plantation bulldogs. These dogs were mixes of southern working dogs like the Catahoula, Cur dogs, Pit Bulls, and Old English Whites. These dogs were family companion, ranch dogs, catch dogs as well as flock guardians.
