When bi-wiring is connected, an acoustic speaker (DALI, B&W, Canton, Dynaudio, Elac, Focal, HECO, JB, JAMO, KEF, Klipsch, Magnat, Polk Audio, ...) is connected to an amplifier (Marantz, Naim, Arcam, Atoll, Cambridge, Denon, HEGEL, NAD, Onkyo, Parasound, Pioneer, TEAC, Yamaha, ...) with a four-wire cable: one pair of wires for the low-pass filter (low frequencies), the second pair of wires for the high-pass filter (high frequencies). When connected to Bi-wiring, the Hi-Fi system starts playing differently. There is transparency and detail in the sound.

Bi-amping is the use of two audio amplifiers for different audio frequency ranges (high-frequency high and low-frequency low frequencies) signals from the two amplifiers are directed to different speaker drivers. One amplifier sends the signal to woofers, subwoofers, the other to tweeters. Although bi amping can be done with one power amplifier if the device has two amplifiers inside. With bi-amplification, an audio crossover separates the audio signal into different frequency ranges (high frequencies and low frequencies). Each signal is separately amplified and routed to separate speaker drivers.
