I remember pissing my pants when I played Quake with a 3Dfx Voodoo graphics card for the very first time. If only you guys were around to experience it. Going from the pixelated hell and poor framerate to smooth looking textures and super smooth framerate - Yes, the framerate was super smooth and it looked a lot better as well! .. Dropped my jaw right there. I bought a Matrox Mystique for my gaming needs because my friend got one, however he got a Voodoo cause I got one :p As you probably know, 3Dfx required a 2D card to function (except for the Banshee which I also owned), so the Mystique wasn't a complete waste - It actually worked flawless with my Voodoo card :)

3dfx will always have a place in my heart. It changed PC gaming completely. Miss you Glide! :(
