"sfc : The term 'sfc' is not recognized as the name of a cmdlet, function, script file, or operable program. Check the spelling of the name, or if a path was included, verify that the path is correct and try again"......
you are in right company.
Note: If SFC scan fails to access winsxs folder, the issue SFC scannow not working issue may also occur. So in order to solve the issue SFC Windows resource protection could not perform the requested operation, you can try to change the security descriptors to solve SFC error.
