Описание

Welcome to my guide to winning the GT Cup Gr.4 Race around High Speed Ring on Gran Turismo 7.

GUIDE UPDATED FOR PATCH 1.48

This is an updated guide, since my last video for this race a few settings have been changed and it’s now a BoP (Balance of Performance) race. You cannot make any tuning changes to the car and you’re limited to the Racing Hard Tyres or Wet Tyres.
If they make changes to the BoP system in a patch I will update the description of this video with a patch number/date and my recommendations or changes if necessary.

THIS RACE WAS COMPLETED ON HARD DIFFICULTY

The car I used for this race: Corvette C7 Gr.4

Items I bought for this car from the Tuning Shop:
Racing Hard Tyres

No strategy required, no fuel saving, no pit stops required. This race is a 5 lap sprint race.

The Corvette C7 Gr.4 is a good choice for this race due to its high top speed, the car feels great to drive around this track and doesn’t feel compromised through the corners. Use slipstreaming on the straights to your advantage to help pass other cars. Avoid any mistakes or crashes because this a quick race and if you crash early on you might not have enough time to catch up and win the race.

This is a pretty straight forward race, no strategy required and the AI aren’t super fast, you should be able to overtake them and be in first place after a couple of laps. Be aggressive with your overtakes, try not to sit behind a car for too long or you will lose time.

My Brake Bias was set to 2 but this is personal preference and not required, I recommend trying my settings but they might not work for you. Everyone has different driving styles and some settings that work for me may not work for you, I recommend messing around with the Brake Balance until you find a setting that works for you.

I have my Traction Control set to 0 but that’s personal preference, to stop the car from oversteering the lower gears you might want to put on some Traction Control or just get used to the car.

If you have any questions or are struggling with the strategy please comment below and I will do my best to help you.
