Solenopsis invicta | Fire Ants in New Nest!

This relatively young colony of Red Imported Fire Ants was started in May of this year when I found the single queen walking down the sidewalk not far from my home. I collected her and set up a tube for her, in which she'd found her colony. I sort of forgot about them for a while, so they didn't do fantastically for the first few months. I'm taking care of them now, and its shown! They're almost at 200 workers, and have their first major pupae currently, one of which you can see in the video!
