Gregory Sloane (Hugh Trevor) a millionaire, invites a group of friends to gather together on a dark stormy night inside his old gothic castle, located on an isolated island just off the coast of Cuba. When together they begin to tell tales of murder. As time goes by, tension begins to heat up between the guests. Couples fight, pianist Mischa Kawelin (Ivan Lebedeff) tries to make love to another man's Tom Austen (Sherman Lowell) wife, Madeline Austen (Rita La Roy). One person is then murdered. Author Sally Wayne (Betty Thompson) who writes murder mysteries and is Sloane's fiance, takes it upon herself to find out who the killer is.
