The Dreyfus Affair is an 1899 series of short silent docudramas, conceived and directed by the innovative filmmaker Georges Méliès. The film was made while the actual Dreyfus Affair was unfolding in France. The French government banned the controversial film and it was not seen again until the 1970s.
