NOTE: Little is known about this popular pre-war Italian singer. Judging by the large number of his recordings, he was among the most popular Italian singers of the 1930s, such as Fernando Orlandis, Daniele Serra, Luciano Tajoli and Crivel. Unfortunately, at the same time he belonged to quite a large group of Italian stage artists who became famous for their fascist propaganda music (this is evidenced by the large number of pro-fascist recordings he left behind). Fortunately, there are also many of his enjoyable renditions of popular Italian and foreign hits from the 1930s, very nicely arranged and performed at a high artistic level. The tango "Scrivimi" is one of the prettiest Italian tangos of the interwar period, and like several others, such as "Just a Gigolo," "Mimosa," "Tango delle capiniere" and "Chitarra Romana," had an international career at the time. The music is accompanied by a photo show of some beautiful Italian pre-war posters.
