MIDI to Blender 2.8 using jpfep's AddRoutes blender addon

to take MIDI music messages in and route them to different dimensions of your 3d scene.
For my uses, I wanted to maximize the amount of MIDI messages i could play with at one time so i used this Max for Live plug-In (https://maxforlive.com/library/device/5033/mono-to-poly
) that takes polyphonic midi from a keyboard and outputs each note to a separate channel. Then you can tell the AddRoutes addOn to pick a specific channel and use that midi as its modifier:

you dont need to use Ableton Live or this plugin the general way of getting midi to blender is the same, this is just what worked for me.
