One of the challenges to automating the deployment of your full stack has always been the database. From getting the database into and out of source control to getting the scripts to run in the right order and ending up with managing all that data, databases present a challenge. However, with modern tooling, we can overcome that challenge and add databases back into the complete automation of our deployments.
