This video is a walkthrough coding the candlestick patterns in Python language. After a general introduction we focus mainly on the shooting star rejection pattern and combined with the RSI we build our custom technical indicator. Then a Backtest on the USD JPY exchange rates confirms the power of candlestick predictions especially when combined with other technical indicators like the RSI (relative strength indicator).
