Thanks to the UVO link with Navigation infotainment system, you can adjust various systems in your Kia right from the touchscreen.
This makes it easier for you to set up your vehicle so it’s “just right” for you. Settings that can be adjusted include Drive Mode, Climate, Lights, Seats, and more.
These changes should only be made when the vehicle is parked.

To begin, press the Setup key, select “Vehicle Settings”…
In Drive Mode, Drive Mode Change Alert lets you choose how the notification messages are displayed when the Drive Mode is changed.
The system defaults to “Detailed Alert” which displays a detailed notification message along with the vehicle image.

“Simple Alert” displays a notification at the top of the screen or on the split screen.
And selecting None means that no messages are displayed.
You can choose the setting you prefer.

Press the Setup key, select “Vehicle Settings”… then “Climate” and you can configure the interior environment by adjusting the various climate controls.
When you select “Automatic Ventilation,” you can turn “Auto Dehumidify” Off or On. After the inside air circulation mode has been used for a while, it automatically switches to outside air to prevent condensation.
When you select “Defog/Defrost Options,” you can enable auto defogging, also known as the Auto Defogging System. When the Auto Defogging System is switched “on” and the sensor detects fog on the inside of the windshield, it automatically starts the defogging process.

Climate Features also lets you adjust the Rear Climate Controls.
You can set the inside temperature independently for the rear seats…
Adjust the air direction between feet, face or a combination of both locations…
Adjust the fan speed…
Turn the automatic temperature control on or off…
And lock the rear-seat climate control system to prevent the rear seat occupants from adjusting the system.
When you select “Lights,” it allows you to adjust the Ambient Lights feature.
Pressing “Brightness” lets you set the brightness level for ambient light.
When you press “Color,” you can change the color of the ambient lights by either selecting your preferred color, or directly entering your desired color.

When you select “Seat” you can configure the settings of the seats or steering wheel, such as seat position change notifications … and automatic control of the Steering Wheel Heater.
When you select “Seat Position Change Alert,” you can set the system to display a notification message along with the seat image on the screen when a seat position is changed.
When you select “Heated/Ventilated Features,” you can automatically control the steering wheel heater and the driver’s seat warmer and ventilation.
Selecting “Seat Warmer/Ventilation” activates automatically to maintain driver comfort.

We live in an age where comfort and convenience are king, and thanks to Vehicle Settings and your UVO link with Navigation infotainment system, you can fine-tune your Kia right from the driver’s seat.
